Escalators, a video made at Tate Modern in London, Claudia Pilsl

This moving image piece is based on the escalators at Tate Modern. It was recorded from a single static position and shows a medium close up. In the editing process it was slowed down four times. It is made to be shown in a loop on a monitor.

Escalators is part of the Tate Modern series and was shown in a solo show titled space encounters (2002) at the Landesgalerie am Oberösterreichischen Landesmuseum and is documented by a catalogue.
